Unveiling Of Ram 1500 Rev Electric Truck 2024: Best Look Rev Electric
RAM has unveiled the production version of the 2024. 1500 REV electric pickup truck. which will compete with the Ford F-150 Lightning and 1500 Rev Electric Truck 2024.
Few weeks after demonstrating a dramatic. electric pickup truck concept at CES in January. The truck bears a lot of similarities to its petrol-powered equal. and it can regarded as an 500 Rev Electric Truck 2024 version of the ICE truck as a whole. As part of the announcement. Stellantis has also announced. it will begin accepting reservations for the new 1500 REV truck. which featured in the Super Bowl commercial.
While the RAM 1500 Revolution BEV. concept suggested an original design. like the Chevrolet Silverado 500 Rev Electric Truck 2024 that GM will release in 2024.
the production model mirrors the standard ICE-powered RAM 1500. adopting Ford's more mundane approach with the F-150 Lightning. contrary to expectations set by that concept.
There aren't many differences between the truck and the concept. aside from updated front and rear ends that replicate the concept's modern styling. with a similar shape to the standard truck. With the lights. grille, logo. and wheels that tailored to the vehicle, the car has a futuristic-looking appearance.
Besides that, not much else has revealed about the production truck. but if we look at the pictures, we can see that it has a crew cab body. with a short bed that does not seem long enough to accommodate the concept model’s third row with jump seats. Yet, it is possible that RAM may offer more configurations at some point in the future.
Interior of 1500 is currently only seen in a few photos. but it appears that the cabin unchanged from the gas-powered 1500. except for the addition of a passenger-side display like the one found in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. and the new software that runs on the central infotainment screen. which has a different look. The RAM is also equipped with a frunk. like its competitors. and it is weatherproof and has access to the onboard charging station.
Technical Specs
As RAM has already stated. the pickup will built on the new truck-focused STLA Frame platform. which designed for electric vehicles that composed of a body-on-frame platform. There are claims that it will be able to reach a range of more than 500 mile. (804 km) on pure electricity. which, if accurate, would be way beyond most of its competitors. Using 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. the automaker claims the vehicle can add up to 100 miles (160 km) of range in 10 minutes. But, RAM has stated that it will lead the competition. suggesting it will be able to tow more than the 10,000 lbs (4,535kg) offered by the Chevrolet Silverado EV. and Ford F-150 Lightning, and may even surpass Tesla's claimed 14,000 lbs (6,350 kg) towing capacity.

RAM 1500 Revolution Concept
With new technology and features, the RAM Revolution concept sets a new standard for electric trucks in the future. There will be several features included in the electric truck, including the ability to store up to 18 feet of cargo, the ability to slide out the third row of seating (consistent with camping chairs), a removable center console, a multifold tailgate, and powered steps.
As part of the STLA Frame architecture which is a 'skateboard'-style layout, which is like that used by electric car Hummers and Chevrolet pick-up trucks rather than a body-on-frame design - Ram claims 160km of driving range can added in 10 minutes by using an 800-volt DC fast charger with a largest power output of 350kW. As of this point, nothing has announced about the battery and range of the 1500 BEV but Ram's parent company Stellantis has before claimed the vehicle will offer up to 800km of driving range from a battery pack with a capacity of 159kWh.
This brand unveiled its new pick-up concept with the 1500 Revolution concept showcasing what it calls its new look, "brutal yet beautiful," and its design called 'bruitiful,' by the brand. It is possible to increase the cabin's length by more than 100 millimeters without sacrificing a lot of cargo space by using smaller electric motors on the platform.
Unlike most dual-cab concepts, the dual-cab concept utilizes rear-hinged doors for the second row of occupants, creating a large saloon-style opening because there is no middle roof pillar. An innovative feature of the concept vehicle is that behind the second-row seats, there is a wall behind the rear cabin wall that can be folded down like a tailgate on a ute, to create an open-air pick-up with two seats and a large cargo area.
As a result of the large load space from the back of the vehicle to the ski port at the 'frunk' - the area under the car's bonnet where the boot (or trunk) is located - almost 5.5 meters of storage can be accommodated and storage option will make its way to the production car, or if this is purely a feature of the concept car. There is an animated Ram logo on the front of the 1500 Revolution, as well as LED lights embedded in the body of the vehicle.
On the concept vehicle, side mirrors are replaced with digital cameras, while augmented reality is projected onto the windscreen. The vehicle is also equipped with an 500 Rev Electric Truck 2024 and charge-port door, a power tailgate, powered side steps, a powered rear step with an active diffuser, and flush-mounted door handles. The interior of the concept vehicle has been designed to incorporate sustainable materials, including a recycled rubber and cork floor and synthetic leather that has been derived from apples. This model comes with twin 14.2-inch infotainment screens that are mounted on the center dash. The lower screen can be removed and used as a tablet, vehicle controller, or video game controller for passengers.
For the 1500 Revolution, Ram has also developed Shadow Mode, which allows the vehicle to automatically follow the driver at a walking speed, like an obedient dog, to help the driver carry out duties at a job site in situations such as gathering tools. In addition to the multiple exterior projectors fitted to this Ram 1500 Revolution, it is also equipped with a rear projection system that can be used to project images and movies on the road ahead of the vehicle, facilitating the display of critical information. There is also a Vehicle Personal Assistant that uses artificial intelligence to follow voice commands from the vehicle regardless of whether the driver is inside or outside the vehicle in order to control smart home devices from the vehicle.
